How do I take a break when an app is locked?
Tap the locked app and choose the break option on the shield. Your first break of the day is a single confirmation; later breaks ask for a short hold or wait in the Vault app. That friction is the product working, not a bug.
How do I change a limit?
Home → Edit on the group. Lowering a limit applies immediately. Raising one applies at the next daily reset (4:00 AM), so a weak moment tonight cannot undo the promise you made this morning.
Why is the Screen Time breakdown empty?
The per-app breakdown only renders on a physical iPhone, needs Screen Time enabled in iOS Settings, and shows usage recorded since today began. If it stays blank, restarting your phone re-registers Apple's reporting extension.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Vault. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the current period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Vault has no server, so everything it knows lives on your phone and goes with it.
