Terms of Use
Effective July 11, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Vault iOS application ("Vault", "the app"). By downloading or using Vault you agree to them. Where these terms are silent, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
What Vault is
Vault is a self-management tool that helps you limit your own screen time using Apple's Screen Time frameworks. Vault is not a medical, therapeutic, or parental-control product, and it makes no health claims. The limits are ones you choose, and you remain able to change or remove them.
Subscriptions
- Vault requires an auto-renewing subscription: Annual ($48/year, with a 7-day free trial) or Weekly ($7/week). Prices are in USD and may vary by region.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device Settings under your Apple Account subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Fair use
You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, and not to use it in violation of applicable law or Apple's App Store terms.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Vault is provided "as is". Screen-time enforcement depends on Apple's operating system and frameworks, which are outside our control; we do not guarantee that a shield or limit will apply in every circumstance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance.
